How do I find care with Alto?

Step 1: Sign up. It’s free and only takes a few minutes.

Step 2: Filter by service category, availability, credentials, and hourly rate to find the perfect match.

Step 3: Submit a booking request. Once it has been accepted, you can start messaging your caregiver to ask questions or provide additional information.

How much does it cost?

It is completely free to sign up. Caregivers set their own wages and careseekers are able to filter by price range to find the right fit for them.

Can I hire someone on a regular basis?

Yes. You can book a caregiver for one time only or make multiple bookings with them to have the same caregiver come regularly.

Are home care services tax deductible?

In certain circumstances home care services may be tax deductible. Check with your tax advisor or Revenue Canada to determine if you qualify.

I've been provided funding by the government for home care. Can I use that funding on Alto?

Yes, you can. For more information on direct funding please contact your home care coordinator. If you need assistance, contact help@findalto.com.
