Alto has flexible caregiving opportunities, clients are always looking for caregivers on alto to deliver one on one care based on the services you want to provide.

Control your own hours.
Don't like working Sundays? Not available from 2 PM to 4PM next Wednesday? Totally fine, with alto you can set your own availability and update it anytime. Take control of your work life and set your own schedule, and available services (i.e., childcare, senior care, housekeeping).
Set your own hourly rate.
Set your own hourly rate, caregivers have the opportunity to earn upwards to $20/ hr based on your education, experience, and services you offer. Work for what you feel is worthwhile.
Choose your clients.
Our platform allows you to view the approximate location, a description of the client's needs, and the time and length of the booking before accepting it. Find what works for you and what suits your unique set of skills.

Create an account and start getting paid to help others live better, healthier lives in the comfort of their own homes. We are here to help you every step of the way.
Step 2
Verification & Credentials
Alto vets every caregiver before they can be booked on our platform. In order to do that we would need a Criminal Record Check, an up-to-date CPR & First Aid Verification, a valid government-issued photo ID, and any other supporting certifications (i.e., Personal Support Worker certificate, Continuing Care Assistant certificate, Disability Support Worker certificate)

Start Booking!
Once you have been vetted, you can start setting your own hours, wages, and accept bookings!

Before any caregiver can be booked through our platform, they have to undergo our vetting process. The minimum requirements are a recent Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector, government issued photo identification, and CPR & First Aid certification. To provide Senior Care or Child Care, we also require home support worker certification, such as a PSW or CCA certificate. To learn more, visit our Vetting Process page. All payment occurs through our platform with the help of Stripe, a secure third party payment processor. Careseekers will pay via credit card and caregivers will receive payment via direct deposit.

All bookings must be a minimum of one hour in length. However, caregivers may use their discretion when accepting bookings and some may prefer longer bookings.

It is completely free to sign up. Caregivers set their own wages and careseekers are able to filter by price range to find the right fit for them.
